Tell a Tale
Kidzee News
I think traditional noir doesn't work in contemporary storytelling because we don't live in that world anymore.

Brian De Palma

At Tell – A – Tale contest, during the finale, we had experts giving their opinion about story telling where they said “Storytelling has long been recognized as an important part of self-healing, knowledge, and a personal and spiritual vehicle for connecting us to other people. But the morals of traditional stories may not be understood in the same way as they were understood earlier. Today, children get more exposure and are given an opportunity to think and imagine on their own and, hence, they have their own ideas on every word said. Thus, the derivation of morals is their prerogative.

At Zee Learn, we believe that, “every child is unique”. The same belief was reinforced during the finale of Tell - A – Tale contest by our teachers. Based on their experiences of how their students best understand the stories, few teachers enacted; few used innovative teaching aids; while others used effective voice modulation techniques while reciting their stories.

The presentation of the stories compelled us to appreciate the uniqueness in each teacher’s approach. .Based on the assessment of the teachers’ performances, the esteemed panel of judges declared the following winners:

Tell –A – Tale award for Most Novel Screen Play: Ms. Kalyani, Kidzee Sainikpuri (1st Prize)

Tell –A – Tale award for Best Voice Modulation: Ms. Madhavi, Kidzee Sainikpuri (2nd Prize)

Tell –A – Tale award for use of Most Novel Teaching Aids: Ms. Radhika, Mount Litera Zee School, Bangalore (3rd Prize)

Tell –A – Tale award for having Best Facial Expressions: Ms. Lavanya, Mount Litera Zee School Karur

Tell –A – Tale award for the Best Use of Technology: Ms. Swati, Mount Litera Zee School, Hayath Nagar, Hyderabad
